By Air: Guests should plan to fly to/from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), which has regular daily flights to/from all major U.S. cities. The airport is located 15 minutes from the wedding hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte on South Tryon Blvd. The hotel offers free shuttle service to/from the airport.
By Car: Charlotte is centrally located along both I-85 and I-77 interstates, about 4.5 hours from Atlanta and 14 hours from Chicago. Drive time from almost everywhere else falls somewhere in between.
We highly encourage out-of-town guests to reserve a rental car for easy transportation around Charlotte and to/from the wedding venue on Sunday. All major rental car companies conveniently operate out of CLT airport.
The distance between the hotel and the wedding venue is approximately 10 miles (20 minutes).
Guests can also choose to use rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) for their transportation need. An UberX between the hotel and wedding venue costs approximately $20 and an UberXL costs $32. Please note that ride share pricing and availability may vary—guests planning to use ride share services should also give ample time for rides to arrive to ensure they are on-time for wedding events.
On-site self-parking is available for hotel guests at the Embassy Suites at a daily rate for $10/day + tax.

Setu: Independent Picture House. 4237 Raleigh St, Charlotte NC 28213. Charlotte’s only non-profit, independent movie theater. IPH is conveniently located across the street from the ceremony + reception venue. We dare you to squeeze a movie into your schedule!
Rishi (5 years old): NASCAR Hall of Fame. 400 E. M.L.K. Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28202. A must-go for anyone who is obsessed with cool and fast cars.
Sahir (9 years old): Freedom Park, Charlotte 28209. Try out the Panther’s obstacle course.
